They can’t tell us exactly what’s wrong, but they show us signs such as being ‘girthy’ and pinning their ears back when saddling, becoming more agitated and in general not themselves. They will also show signs of poor appetite, colic, weight loss, or behavioural changes and all of these could be linked to gastric issues like ulcers or other stomach conditions.
An equine gastroscope is a safe and non-invasive procedure to diagnose these issues, allowing us to see exactly what’s going on inside their stomachs. The scoping process will provide us with critical information to tailor the best treatment plan for your horse's health.
Here at Monto Vet Group, we’re proud to offer Gastroscoping Days. Our experienced team ensures the process is as stress-free as possible for both you and your horse.
Don’t wait until the problem becomes serious and call us today to be put on our waitlist for the next scoping day.
